I had a great time at Oak Knoll this last weekend. A big thanks to Bob and Millie Fleck for hosting once again and making us all welcome in their town, home and store. It is a lot of effort to pull off such an event and this years structure with the symposium, speakers and exhibition hall flowed seamlessly and was continually engaging.
It’s an event like this that really charges one’s batteries. The friendships get cemented, new connections are made and the opportunity to see world class work (from around the world no less) and learn from others processes is invaluable to me being stuck in the north woods most of the rest of the time.
I thought some of you might be interested in who else was at the Fest this year so here’s a link to an introduction of the presses put out on Oak Knoll’s Biblio-Blog: http://oakknollbooks.wordpress.com/tag/oak-knoll-fest/
More information about the speakers and the rest of the event can be found here: http://www.oakknoll.com/fest/
